The graphic is a one day snap shot of the real estate market in St. Paul where there are now about 950 homes for sale and about 24 of them will receive an offer today and 29 more will come on the market and about 28 of the homes on the market will have sellers who reduce the price. Yes it is true homes sell every day .. . . but not all of them.
The homes that have sold the most recently have been on the market an average of 86 days. Some homes sell in a day others stay on the market for a couple of months. The local real estate market is much stronger than it was a few years ago with home prices generally trending up but not as quickly as they went up in 2013. I’ll have some May 2014 numbers on Thursday.
