Welcome to the second annual virtual pumpkin carving contest. The idea was invented right here on this blog in St. Paul, Minnesota. I have to say this years entries are amazing. If you have ever tried using the paint program on your computer you will understand why I say amazing, and truly frightening. This years contestants are not only artistic but courageous, just nine brave men, women and a child were willing to give it a try. Each one is a winner as far as I am concerned. This years youngest contestant, Maggie is six years old. She has never been to Minnesota, and she had to send her entry all the way from California.
Vote for your favorite pumpkin using the poll. Each pumpkin has a number in white, just below it and to the left. Each button on the poll has a number. Select the number on the poll that is the same as the number below the pumpkin that you would like to vote for. I really do have to explain everything. I don’t have to say you can only vote once because I set up the poll so you can only vote once. The order of the voting buttons is random. I just thought that would be a nice touch.
If not for their carving skills or their artistic ability – many of these are SO VERY CLEVER!!!
Jennifer – that is the point, creativity and courage. 🙂
Jake – Not sure, your pumpkin is a little hairy.
I know you were only kidding, but you did say I’d get to judge them.
“I find Pumpkin #1 Guilty on all charges. I sentence you to be eaten by a squirrel.”
Erik, you are the judge if there is a tie. even though in my last post I said I was not afraid of anything I am terrified of Realtors who blog and at least 4 of the entries are from them. If I express an opinion on the pumpkins they will eat me alive, and the virtual pumpkins too. You on the other hand can pull it off.
Hi Teresa,
Where’s my entry? I was hoping for a big win with my creativity!
Thanks,
Dale

Hi Teresa, just stopping by to say hi.
Vote for 6. Vote for 6. Vote for 6. Vote for 6.
6 is the shiznik.
Shiznik? How old are you, Bob?
What a clever idea. Love the way they are all so different. I placed sacramento’s vote.
Thanks Teresa for giving us an outlet to have a little fun.
Thanks for voting Gena
Jeff – on my blog we don’t ask personal questions. 🙂 Got Bob? Get Bob.
ahem…ah…um Thanks T.
The late horse is trying for a surge at the end! Vote for T… I mean the St. Paul Pumpkin! #9 is the one!!!
Funny as can be. Had a hectic week with lots of prep for family activities and painting inside the house. Had the pumpkin started and sat down in the easy chair to watch Meerkat Manor with full intention of posting my pumpkin after the show. Woke up 30 minutes too late. Knowing the rules were NOT going to be bent this year, I did not ask for special favors. Next year, next year . . . I now have a whole year to work on something original!
Hey, T, why am I showing up as a question mark in the comments?
Mrs. Boardman-

Maggie
Thank you, Teresa.
This was Maggie’s first comment on a blog. She has been checking out your site since mid October and finally insisted on commenting.
I think she’s a St. Paul fan. She now knows where St Paul is, where Minnesota is, and the daily weather there.
Whodathunk this “thing of ours” would be educational?
Maggie – thanks so much for entering, it was a fun to have you here.
Maggie’s dad – The blog is always G rated, but other than the pictures maybe not all the kid friendly. I might just include a little more geography. Many of my picutres are geo coded maybe there is some educational value in them. Gives me something to think about.
This is amazing! =)
