Blogging on the radio

Maybe I should have written then one on a Friday because it was fun.  On Monday I was on the Mid Morning show on Minnesota Public Radio. (It isn’t too late to listen)  I have been on MPR before and over the years I have gotten to know some of the people who work at the station.  They are engaged in the community which I find refreshing. I feel like they live in the same world that they are reporting on and that gives them creditability.

One of the central themes of the show was that homes sales are down . . or they were in January . . I think they always are in January but we hit a new low in new construction sales .

The show was live and there were some really great questions from callers.  In the first half hour Nicolas Retsinas:  Director of Harvard University’s Joint Center for Housing Studies, talked about the economy and  in the second half from John Burns: CEO of John Burns Real Estate Consulting, talking about national real estate.

I was surprised by how many of my readers, clients and neighbors listen to MPR. . . I know I shouldn’t be.
